Think you have another 7 or more in the chamber? Where to start? I LOVE this story, plain and simple. Just the main 7 so far books. There are only 2 draw backs I can think of. Hunter repeatedly uses the same words and terminology to describe actions and events throughout all the of the books. To the point that I almost had it memorized. Not a major turn off, and I get that after 7 books describing the same things in different ways is not easy but a little variation would be nice. I found my self skipping over the repetitive parts.
Darkling Siege would have been an Epic ending to an Epic book series. What else is there left to do? I found myself disappointed at the end of the last chapter not because I finished the book, but because there was no ending, even though the finish line was in sight. I was excited for the end. Conflict, then resolution. Beginning, then the end. A story with no end is like life without death. It loses all of its meaning. Mostly because who ends a story like that, but if it keeps going I personally am going to settle for my own ending and jump ship.
Either way J. Hunter, thank you for an incredible story. Phenomenal addition to the series. There were a couple spots where you knew what was coming and I didn't want to read "unholy" or "unnatural" again so I just skipped paragraphs to get on with it. Viridian Gate Online Darkling Siege This was the most suspenseful and gripping story in the series so far. Cutter and Amara tied the knot, viridian gate online cataclysm free download pdf. There were a few new horrifying types of really awful monsters and I saw some of the assholes I loved to hate return as new and more putrescent versions of themselves.
